The new MasterCut series | Precise & flexible

The MasterCut is an extremely flexible and robust cutting system for a variety of cutting tasks. It is used in small workshops as well as in large industrial buildings. The CNC machine offers high-quality 2D cuts with plasma and oxyfuel, and thanks to the MasterCut rotator the option of exact bevel cuts for efficient weld edge preparation and this on flat material, pipes and profiles.

The new MasterCut from MicroStep now features several improvements that take production quality to an even higher level. For the current version of the flexible plasma cutting machine MicroStep has improved the portal bridge and guides. The weight of the portal bridge has been increased by 30 percent, the weight of the guides even by 60 percent. MicroStep also invested in even more powerful servo motors. The result: more robustness, smoother running, more precise cuts.

"We need versatility. We wanted to cut plasma, oxyfuel and also bevels. There were three manufacturers left, which we visited for a demonstration. MicroStep was the best. The rotator alone was a 60 to 70 percent deciding factor," says Josef Gandler, Managing Director of Neuschmid Christian GmbH.

iMSNC® from MicroStep is one of the most advanced control systems for CNC cutting machines. It was developed to easily, reliably, and efficiently turn cutting plans into finished parts with the help of a clear and modern user interface. The system’s hardware consists of a stand-alone control console with a TFT touchscreen and a control panel with an LCD display mounted on the gantry. In order to achieve maximum utilization and flexibility of our machines, the ergonomic control console offers the opportunity to nest new cutting programs and generate new CNC codes during an ongoing cutting process. As the iMSNC® control system and all CAM software solutions come from our company, the software with its versatile modules can be individually customized for your production. Parameter databases for individual technologies enable consistently high quality under various circumstances. iMSNC® comes with multiple efficient evaluation tools for production process optimization. These provide you with the much-needed overview of current cutting orders, cutting times, cost calculations and machine utilization in day-to-day production.
